The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the green meadows and right on the mountain. The views of the mountains from our room were breathtaking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Despite the small size of the rooms, they were well-fitted out and had spacious bathroom facilities. The attention to detail was impressive and everything was kept impeccably clean. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a variety of options to suit all tastes.

The Saanewald Lodge is a hidden gem located in the fairytale Gstaad valley, surrounded by breathtaking mountains in Switzerland. the ski, in ski, out feature allows guests to easily access the slopes and enjoy a day of skiing. the rooms are clean and well, furnished, with spacious bathrooms that exceed expectations. the friendly and helpful staff create a welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel at home. the breakfast offers a good variety of options and the communal spaces, including a pool table and a fireplace, provide entertainment and relaxation. the hotel also offers a ski room with lockers for convenient storage.

The restaurant, although serving quality dishes, could benefit from a more extensive menu and a wider selection of wines.

The attention to detail, such as the complimentary WiFi and delicious breakfast, make this hotel great value for money.

Great Location, Fantastic Service, Amazing Decor

If you're looking for a great city break, this place ticked all the boxes. Located perfectly, it was close to both skiing slopes and the center of town. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The decor was unique and had an eclectic mix of modern and vintage pieces which added to the charm of the hotel.

Two aspects that could be better were the food and room size. Although the food was decent, it lacked in variety and presentation.

This hotel in the Gstaad skiing area exceeded our expectations in every way. the value for money was exceptional - we couldn't believe what we got for the price we paid. Secondly, the attention to detail was remarkable, from the cleanest rooms I've ever seen to the spacious bathroom facilities. And let's not forget the location - just 100 meters from the ski lift and nestled in the beautiful green meadows above the Sannenmoser village. The service provided by the staff was exceptional - they were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful, with the manager personally serving up eggs.
